Proposed Constitution and By-law Changes

To assure comformity, recommended changes and additons have been submitted to The National Bowling Associaton's Constitution Committee Chairperson for review and approval, before being presented to the local membership for their approval.


The committee worked dilligently over the last three months, going through the Consitution and By-laws to make recommendations for changes.  Some changes are housekeeping and others are very relevent to the members. 

Copies of the recommended changes and additions have been provided to each ICS member for their review.  In accordance with our Constitution, this was done by June 30, 2010.


The changes and additions were presented to the membership at the Annual Membership Meeting on August 29, 2010 for final approval.

Changes will be effective on September 1, 2010.

Committee

According to the By-laws (Article II, Section 3), the Constitution Committee shall consist of at least five (5) and no more than nine (9) active members of the Senate who will review the constitution, receive proposed amendments for review and present proposed amendments to the body no later than June 30th of each year.

Admendments 

According to the By-laws (Article III, Section 1) - Any and all proposed admendments shall be submitted in writing by the proposed thereof, by December 31st.  All proposals shall be considered by the Committee and the Committee's recommendations will be reported to the Senate for final voting thereon.
