TNBA Awards Program Criteria

All scores must be bowled in a TNBA and USBC certified league or tournament play.  If you don't know if your league is TNBA-certified...check this list.

  1. A ring or watch shall be awarded for a "300" game (once per season).
  2. A watch or gemstone lapel pin shall be awarded for a "299" game (once per season).
  3. A gold diamond ring shall be awarded for a "900" series (once per season).
  4. A ring, watch or gemstone lapel pin shall be awarded for an "800" series (once per season).
  5. A lapel pin shall be awarded for a "700" series (once per season).
  6. An engraved lapel pin shall be awarded for games 265-298 (once per season).

                           Bowler of the Year
Criteria - This award will be presented to One Male and One Female bowler in a TNBA-certified league, who accumulates the most points based on the following criteria.

750 to 799               700 to 749          10 points per occurrence
700 to 749               650 to 699            5 points per occurrence

275 to 299              250 to 299           3 points per occurrence



Average

(Must have bowled 2/3 of scheduled league season)
Average will be carried out to 2 decimal places

3rd Highest                                          5 Points

In case of a tie in high average, duplicate points will be awarded.

Most Improved Bowlers

This award will be presented to one Male and one Female TNBA-certified league bowler who has the greatest improvement in average based on:

    1. The current year Book Average compared to the book average for the same league for the previous season.
    2. If no average from this league, use highest book average.
    3. If no book average, use average in this league after 21 games

This information will be taken from the final average sheet that is submitted to CCSBC.  Copies should be forwarded to the Senate Secretary.

This award will be presented to
the winners of the Insurance City Senate Doubles and/or Singles tournament.

Recognition will be given for top finishes in other tournaments.

Prize lists should be given to the Awards Chairperson (Linda Halloway) in order to receive proper credit.
