The purpose of Insurance City Bowling Senate is to unite in a central organization all qualified bowlers in the Metropolitan area of Hartford.
It shall be subsidiary and auxiliary to The National Bowling Association, Inc., which is the parent body. The National Bowling Association, Inc. is a non-profit corporation, organized August 20, 1939, in Detroit, Michigan, for the purpose of encouraging Negroes to develop their skills in the game of Ten Pins.
ICS stives to foster the spirit of good sportsmanship, fellowship and friendship and to maintain and increase interest in ten-pin bowling.
In keeping our members informed, we desseminate news, including the activities, accomplishments and other items of interest to and about its membership through official organs known as "The TNBA Bowler" and "Annual Souvenir Program Book".
